DRESDEN

Together with the city well developed a prototype which combines the two tables and the different maps. In Autumn 2020 a first prototype was installed in the park "Alaunplatz". We are already working on a orientation plan for the cementery "Nordfriedhof" in Dresden. There we will test a close up of the plan for a special area.

The concept of the installation was developed during university. The basic idea is to have big installation at the main entrance with two different maps: a relief one for blind people and one with special colour contrast for visually impared people. Both maps are on lower height and at an angle so people in a wheelchair as well as standing people can reach and see the maps. Smaller spots with QR-Codes or Bluetooth are all over the park and send audio signals for the content of the park map and information about public transport, etc.
